The Speedo has no communications module (no gsm/gprs communication) and is mostly used in process control where no communications is needed. But also, the Speedo can be used for vehicle trip recording, as it can record:

If used for vehicle trip recording, the data must be downloaded from the Speedo to a PC by connecting the Setup/Download cable to the module and transfer the data to the PC.

The data can be exported in several formats and an own format can be defined as well.

The Speedo has 4 digital/analog input ports and 4 digital output ports. Also, 1-wire support and serial port for communication with other devices.

For a complete system, it is required to add a GPS antenna and power/IO/1-Wire identification or temperaure/LCD cables.
